So that has been a good few weeks since I last wrote… Whoops

So since the last time…

Mum and Dad have been out for two weeks and had a great time - so much so that they didn’t want to leave, the folks and I went Dog sledding - I rolled the dog sled, We went snowmobiling - I rolled the snow mobile - well not so much rolled, as got it to jump over the track we were meant to be riding down. Will said it looked awesome so at least that was something - I did however hurt one knees and the other thigh - as they say shit happens! We had a squash tournament at Anna‘s house, Had a great match between Buzz and Myself. The tournament was won by Joe - who appeared to be rather good at the whole squash thing - Damn Him! Monday last week, the mountain at Lake Louise was closed due to high winds. It was blowing at 100 Kph at mid mountain and about 150Kph at top of the world. We did two runs, once the one and only lift was opened - which were horrible, basically ice, stopped for lunch and then had some beers and got the first bus home.

Also had a small thing last week - just the matter of the level 2

But you don’t want to know how that went do you…

So this week we don’t have any worries as the level 2 is now over. We still have Daron but it should be an awesome week of crazy-ness! Hopefully I’ll get some good video footage of rock drops and stuff.

Okay so I can’t think of anything else to pack this out with so I’m just going to have to say that the level 2 was a good week. Days one to three where good fun. After the rubbish conditions on Monday, Tuesday had lots of fresh and we had a really good day which managed to settle our nerves. It remained like this until Friday when the nerves returned. Managed to overcome them though - Yes, Yes I am now a Professional Athlete of the second level. Hoo-rah!
Unfortunately we didn’t all pass. Will was taken out by an out of control boarder, which shook us all up not mention him. He was taken to hospital on a back board but after some pain killer and muscle relaxants appears to be a hell of a lot better now. Laura and Martin passed their teaching but not their riding and Nick passed his riding but not his teaching - they all get to retake the half they haven’t passed next week. So we all went out to celebrate Friday night… and Saturday morning, which brings us to know really - Sunday afternoon, lying on my bed typing this out thinking about food - that will do for now.

Take it easy
Peace

J
