One week after the spliting of the knee - Like taming of the shrew but with the out the shrew... and knees... and well... blood - okay its got nothing to do with taming of the shrew. Crap where was I... Oh yes went for a bike ride today - first evening without rain for Oh I Don't know a week. Good long bike ride - about an hour, came back, legs shaking - I did the last couple of miles in top gear - "its a deep burn". It may not have been raining but nobody has yet given the road permission to dry out and it hasn't. the outcome is how lots of good bike rides end - covered in mud. Glasses marks around the eyes and bootie marks where my socks were.


Update on Banff - Its getting really rather close you know. I've just booked the youth hostel for after the course - sounds really good - pancakes every morning and it has an indoor hot tub - how cool is that.

I also found this photo last weekend which I think is really cool - mainly cos i look awesome in it
